First week all sleep no eat?

My LO is 6 days old and is really uninterested in eating! She sleeps most of the day, less of the night 😩 and when I wake her every three hours during the day to eat she nurses for maybe 20 minutes! Then out again- I try to keep her awake using all the tricks but she is quickly back out! Her first dr visit showed good weight gain but did any other babies do this for so long? My first always wanted to eat above all else lol...
When will she “wake up”?

This happened with me, I ended up expressing into a bottle because she was losing weight due to falling asleep mid feeding- expressing did the trick she rapidly put on weight!

20 minutes is great. They get most of the milk in the first 5-10 minutes anyway. If there are enough wet and dirty diapers and weight gain is good, then there is enough milk and all is well.

I feel like 20 minutes is a good amount of time. My baby always falls asleep while nursing so he doesn’t last much longer than 20-30 minutes at a time but he’s gaining weight so the pediatrician said I’m doing good.

I went through the same thing with my second child. I honestly can't remember when he became more alert, but it was within the first few weeks.
