When is the soonest I can take a home pregnancy test???

They recommend not to test until a missed period however some tests can detect hcg up to 5 days before a missed period. But hcg levels differ with each woman and each pregnancy so if you test too early you could get a false negative.

I tested positive at 9dpo and 10 dpo my daughters because I “just knew.” 🙈 I will be testing early again, but this time because I no longer have a functioning thyroid and immediately have to increase my dose by 25%.  Best wishes!

It is best to wait until your missed period to help limit the heart break, especially in the event of a chemical pregnancy.
