Taking baby out at 3 weeks?

My baby boy was born June 1, so he’s three weeks old today. Doctor said to keep him away from super crowded places for the first month or so.

So question..I’ve been invited to a baby shower tomorrow, which is taking place in a banquet room at a restaurant. I don’t believe there will be many people there. However, I know that a few people that will be there will want to see my little one, as they actually threw my shower last month.

Would it be too soon to take him out? I’ve taken him out a few times when I needed to, but he remained in his car seat with the cover.
