Stretch and sweep

I am having a stretch and sweep on Monday at my midwife appointment. I am 38 weeks then and am having it as my baby is big. Before anyone says it might not be I’ve had millions of scans to measure her and my last baby was very big! I was just wondering can they always actually do a stretch and sweep? I’m worried my cervix won’t be ready and I’ll be disappointed.
