When did you front face you Childs car seat?

My daughter is 19 months and I’ve been thinking about front facing her. She’s about 20lbs and 26inches in height

Our 12 month old is 21 pounds and 32 inches long. I have ZERO plans to switch her car seat now or any time soon. It's best to wait until they're at least 2 years old but I'll be keeping her rear facing until she exceeds the car seat's limits for rear facing (50 pounds).

Depends on your state. In CT our law is 2 years old AND 30lbs. If they don’t meet both of those they have to rear face.

I won’t until she put grows the seat, probably around age 4. They’re spine doesn’t fuse until then anyways, and if you forward face too early it can lead to internal decapitation in an accident

It’s legal on my state at 1, but your daughter is small. I front faced mine when she was 32 lbs and 36” tall.

I think the law is 2 yrs here as well although I have a smaller kid ad well. My doctor encourages keeping them rear facing as long as they can.
