Getting tested for herpes a week before due date

So I’m getting tested for genital herpes a week before my due date. They said if it comes back positive or if I go into labor before the results come back, I’ll have to have a c-section. But they’re not sure if that’s what it is because it seems so mild. I’m just sitting there like the only other times I’ve had this problem is when I’ve had a yeast infection but this time there’s no yeast infection. But it’s only been a small number of times that I’ve had this and I’m just feeling a little traumatized.
