I was born with a congenital heart defect that was a non issue my whole life. Because they’re genetic, I had to also have a fetal echo cardiogram. They have special equipment for them, get a much clearer view of the heart, and the sonographers receive special training that those at your anatomy scan don’t.
Incomplete heart anatomy scan
After four different anatomy scans they are still unable to find the outflow for the right ventricle of the heart at 24 weeks. Doctor stated on the phone they are concerned but not overly concerned. I have to wait until my offical appointment Wednesday to discuss what will be the next steps because they want to discuss options. Anyone else have this happen?
