I have two stepdaughters (ages 6 and 8) who's lives I have been in since they were 2 and 4. They always called their mom's new husband daddy, and within the last couple years they started calling me mommy. Well now that their mom is aware of that, she doesn't like it. She scolds them when they call me mommy. I can see where she's coming from, but it makes me sad because it was their choice to call me mommy, I never forced them. It's something they've done for years and I think it's less confusing for small children to just call all 4 of us mommy and daddy.

... So the point of this story is... What's another cute name they can call me besides my first name? First names seem a little disrespectful for parents, plus I think it'll be confusing when my baby starts talking and I'm mommy to him but Melissa to the girls. Any creative ideas maybe all 3 can call me??
