You’re kidding me right?

So I’m in the car with my mom, dad, and two brothers. My period is supposed to come tomorrow, and I need tampons and pads. I had asked my mom yesterday and she forgot. AND IN THE CAR IN FRONT OF MY DAD AND BROTHERS SHE STARTS TALKING ABOUT IT. I totally get it’s not a thing to be ashamed of, but I’m a fourteen year old girl so I don’t exactly have that super power some admirable women have of just “owning it” I feel so utterly embarrassed and pissed off that my mom would do that. My dad is understanding but he’s...well idk ok? It’s weird to me. I know when I get home and want to just be in my room alone, they are going to want to come in five minutes later and talk to me about it. I completely appreciate them buying products for me, and everything else they do. But I’m just pissed off. And I need some consolation please?
