Miscarriage. What to expect?

I found out today my babies heart stopped beating. I was 7 weeks 3 days. Phase one is waiting to naturally miscarry, if that doesn’t work medication to make it happen and if that doesn’t work surgery. What can I expect when I naturally miscarry? I have no clue what to expect, I just went out and bought maxi pads and put one on and some sweat pants and I’m just laying in bed bawling my eyes out and waiting. Can someone please tell me what happens? And don’t hold back. I would rather be ready.

Its been two months since my miscarriage, I still get upset when I think about it but not as much. I had a missed miscarriage baby stopped growing at 8 weeks I went to my OB at 12 weeks and they said there was no heartbeat doctor gave me options either I get the D&C done or have a natural miscarriage or take the pills. All of those were very hard decisions to make very stressful. But in my situation I had to get my daughter's up and ready for school and walk them to the bus stop so I made the decision to take the pills all this happened on my husband's birthday but everything happened within two hours it was quick. I felt good in a way that I stayed at home and done this. I use bigger pads the bleeding lasted for about 2 weeks on and off. My first period after my miscarriage was heavy and I bled for maybe eight days I just had my second period And it lasted for 7 days which is my normal period length I would say it was the same color as my first period after miscarriage. My advice to you is to listen to your body and grieve as much as you need to it's okay to cry and your feelings are normal don't let anyone Rush you're grieving. I will say songs helped me cry it out. I did YouTube songs about miscarriage the first month was really hard you were just asking yourself a lot of questions what ifs. I'm sorry for your loss it's a hard process I guess it does get easier you just don't forget but it's always there for me right now it is.

I’m so sorry for your loss!!! I found out at my 13 week appointment that my baby stopped growing at 9+5 and then ended up having a d&c; 3 days later. Heart stopped and my body never knew it so I had held onto baby for over 3 weeks after it died. I’m not sure I ever would have miscarried naturally. If natural is what you want I hope it happens for you. Just keep in mind that some women, like me don’t miscarry naturally. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s absolutely devastating and nothing anyone says can make it better. Cry as much as you want and lean on your significant other. My husband has been my rock. I still randomly cry out of no where and you just have to let it happen and lean on a loved one for support.

I’m so sorry. 😔😔😔 I woke up to spotting. Then more spotting. My cramps were not as bad as period cramp. They were fairly light. I passed 3 small clots. I was 6 weeks. After the clots I bleed for a few more days. 1 weeks total. I started bleeding on sat, called my doc, he said it’s probably a miscarriage so stay in bed, I did, Monday I was seen and my doc confirmed a meg pregnancy test. She checked my cervix and it was closed and bleed was as much as a miscarriage.

It’s tough to say. All miscarriages are different. No matter what you will make it through though, physically and emotionally.
I miscarried around 6 weeks for my first pregnancy and only bled for a couple of days. Literally didn’t even fill a pad. It was all thick, goopy blood that only came away when I wiped or sat down on the toilet for awhile. The cramps were mild but definitely there, I did stay at work through the entire thing and was able to work through the miscarriage.
My second miscarriage was earlier, but basically just like a heavy period.
My third miscarriage was much later, baby stopped growing at 12 weeks. I opted to go straight for a D&C; based on the size of the pregnancy. I had the D&C; a few days ago under general anaesthetic, before the miscarriage had a chance to start naturally, I haven’t bled much since, mostly on the first day, otherwise it’s been intermittent, again goopy, dark clotty/flakey sort of blood. They removed a lot of tissue during the D&C; so it’s likely I won’t bleed much over all. This may not be a typical experience. I took most of the week off, my recovery hasn’t gone great, I fainted after the procedure due to low blood pressure and I am extremely exhausted, finding it difficult to walk very far still, and the cramps come and go. The worst part of this one is the emotional recovery so far...

I am so sorry! To be honest for awhile it may feel like it isn't getting an easier but eventually things will get better. I bled for about a week, frequent blood clots and it did finally stop. You may or may not get over what happened but eventually it will get better. You just need to give yourself the time to deal with it. again I am so sorry this happened to you and I'm praying things get better for you.
