First birthday gift ideas?!

My little one is turning one end of August and I’m in desperate need of gift ideas! He will be in the beginning crawling stage and since next gift giving opportunity won’t be till Christmas I was thinking of crawling/walking and educational toys. Any suggestions ??

I'm  probably  not getting her anything ( i buy stuff all the time) But shes having a bday party, she will get an excessive  amount of toys and gifts.

We're not going to bother with gifts. At most I'm getting a photo book made with photos from her first year. She won't remember and I don't need more stuff in my home! 😂

We got my oldest a chair and will be getting this baby a similar one.

I got my daughter a floor mat piano, an inflatable bouncy horse, a horse carriage car type thing that can be pulled by parent or Flintstones style operated by kid. My mom got her a baby doll that I know of. I also like the idea of instrument sets of morracas, tambourines, etc., indoor soccer goal/basketball hoop. I had more ideas, but I can't think of them right now. I do tend to go with older toys so most of what I am getting her says 18 months + on it but 🤷

Am in the same boat, my son likes the boxes the toys come in .. I just got the standing walker for him an he's using it good... he loves little baby bum nursery rhymes.. so I will get him some educational games for his 1 st year
