Should I go?

I am currently TTC (for over 2 years), and on that constant rollercoaster of emotions that comes with it. A close friend has finally gotten pregnant after years of trying, and her baby shower is coming up. My question is: Knowing that it may be hard for me to handle emotionally, should I just suck it up and go? I am happy for her, and my husband and I are longtime friends of both her and her husband, but I dont want to have a mental breakdown or something and ruin her day.
