Bed rest.
Well, I spent 7 hours in the ER last night. I went because I had bright red bleeding like I just started a period and then started cramping. Had to sit in the ER because I'm not 20 weeks. Blood work, urine, and an u/s. Everything was fine. Baby was moving and heartbeat was in right ranges, 150 to be exact. There was no bleeding near placenta or cyst so not sure what caused it, but they discharged me with "threatened miscarriage" and put me on bed rest. I still have my appointment Monday and ultrasound for my 16 week checkup. Feeling okay today. No bleeding so far, just crampy, and extremely nauseous. So my question is, what is bed rest considered? I never had complications with my first. So I have no clue and I'm a stay at home mom with an active and smart 16 month old.
