Yesterday was my birthday and my mom, Aunt, sister, and I went shopping in the morning. It was time for lunch, but my mom and sister decided to take it upon themselves to choose the lunch place. I’m a very picky eater, so the menu has to be kinda large for me to find something I like. I looked at the menu of the place they chose. I didn’t see anything I would eat, so I asked if we could choose a different place. They completely ignored me and went anywhere. I was very hurt and ended up calling my husband to pick me up so I could get lunch elsewhere (I was starving because it was 2pm at this point). Is it ok that I felt upset and hurt they didn’t value my opinion on my birthday?
