Honeymoon spot?

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone has ever been to bora bora for their honeymoon? And what was the ball park price for the trip?? Thats my dream honeymoon, and we dont get married until 2020 so we have time to save. 
And if you went anywhere tropical for your honeymoon, any recommendations??

we went to sandals ochi in jamaica and it was wonderful!!! would highly recommend it for a honeymoon location. bora bora was out of our price range.

We went to Bora Bora (vacation - not honeymoon) and it was amazing. We were there for 15 days and spent around $14k. It was definitely steep, but worth it. 
For our honeymoon, we went to Italy. Spent about $6k for just under 2 weeks. I enjoyed that more than Bora Bora because there's so much more to do and see and you get more out of the experience.

Yes we did and it was incredible. Worth every bit of the $17,000. We did 3 weeks and spent about equal time in Bora, Tahaa and Moorea. Each island had something really cool and unique to it. It will spoil you though and every other place on the planet will seem “blah.” Tip; don’t bother with Tahiti. You’ll fly into it, but it’s not near as pretty. Only stay for shopping on the way back.

We went to Aruba for our honeymoon.  It was absolutely gorgeous!  It’s outside of the hurricane belt, so the threat of hurricanes ruining your vacation is slim to none (huge reason we chose to go there).  Everyone was really friendly and the ocean is clear and warm!

My friends went to Bora Bora and absolutely raved about it. They tell everyone to go there! I’m headed to Secrets Vallarta Bay in Puerto Vallarta for my honeymoon in Feb so I can’t confirm if it’s amazing yet, but I’m super excited!! The Secrets Maroma Beach was our original plan but changed because flights were way cheaper for us. Check them both out!

Ahh Bora Bora is on my list too! I'm still playing around with dates, flights and all that and comparing them to other locations. Fiance wants to go to Jamaica. So idk! I wish I had as much time as you, we have 6 months 😱
