i only use cardboard. plastic just ends up in our landfills and takes THOUSANDS of years to decompose. Honestly, it is insane that plastic applicators are even sold. ladies, please please consider making the switch to cardboard. Think about how many you go through. They can't be recycled (duh)-- so we are filling our landfills with millions of applicators, contributing to an eco disaster our children and grandchildren will inherit. Sorry rant over. They are pretty tho. Never seen them before. I can imagine the allure.

I just bought a box of them yesterday first time using them and they to me are easier to use them the pearl as far as gripping I love them
