Hi I’m really struggling today with hayfever! Went to midwife on Wednesday and she said it was fine to take Piriton as long as it was the real stuff not shops own make. So I have been taking it since Wednesday and today I could hardly breathe, throat is like glass and can’t hear from right ear it seems blocked. Went to pharmacist today to see if there was anything else I could take as I can’t go on like this and he was shocked midwife had told me to take Piriton and told me to stop right away. I’m worried sick I have done something to my baby and it’s stressing me out. Going to call the midwife tomorrow but can anyone think of anything to get me through the night. Been taking hot lemonade and honey for my throat and tried steaming my face and putting Vaseline in my nose but nothing helping! Any advice would be appreciated xxx
