Have nausea/morning sickness?! Here's help!!
Sorry to hear you have it too! 😔 I hope this helps Ladies! I'm about 11 weeks and ever since 6 weeks I've been in and out of the hospital for severe dehydration from the "morning sickness" (more like 27;7 sickness!) here's some things that might help you, all of these we recommended by my doctors/midwifes or other pregnant women::
Medications;
🌟Zofran-prescription
🌟Diclegis-prescription
🌟Ginger root pills-OTC
🌟Tums (the chews are easist to get down)-OTC
Foods/drinks;
⭐️Natural ginger ale
⭐️Crystallized ginger(you can get it at a holistic store/Amazon/organic food places/etc.-you chew on it but since it's high in sugar-but very affective for many people I suggest you run it under water, that will get all the unneeded sugar off and make you just chew the ginger!)
⭐️Chew on an orange peel, I know it sounds weird but it subsides nausea. You can buy candied orange peels at a reason price on Amazon.com
⭐️Keep crackers (saltines, Club, Ritz-whatever you like) next to your bed. Before getting up balance out your sugar by eating at least a couple. Also sitting in bed for 15 minutes before getting up when you wake up is good if you can-while you eat them.
⭐️I have personally found if I can't keep anything down I can sometimes manage a simple ice pop or watermelon and those will get some fluids back in ya!
⭐️Keep water and Gaterade everywhere!
Other things;
🌙Sea sick acupressure bands(you can buy them cheap online or at your local drug store!)
🌙Prenatal massage relaxed me a bit, it may not nessicarally help the nausea directly but when your muscles are super sore from all the vomiting it feels amazing. Make sure the person is a prenatal massage therapist, *especially in the first trimester!
🌙(Prenatal) acupuncture, make sure before making an appointment you tell them you are pregnant. Most insurances won't pay for it but it's normally under $100 a session. It also works for pain!
🌙Essential oils. Also if smells are really making it worse lately take a smell that you still like and keep it on your blankets/pillows at home or on a cloth when out to smell.
🌙*Try to eat many times a day, small meals.
🌙Try to sleep it off when at all possible!
🌙If you have to throw up make sure you're not bent over or crunched up, sit up straight and throw up to avoid pulling on muscles and added pain. Keep a bucket(small trash can from at Tree works!) by your bed just in case! You never know when it'll hit ya! 😐
🌙Make sure if you throw up for a day and hold barely nothing down you go to the ER for hydration or contact your DR immediately. If you're in your second or third trimester and throw up violently more than 5x you also need to IMMEDIATELY go to the ER as this could put you into early labor and is no joking matter!!**
🌙Try to stay as cool as possible!!
🌙and try your best to RELAX. Whatever works for you-prenatal yoga, mediation, rest...shopping haha WHATEVER it is do it!
I hope this helps you, sadly I've tried everything at this point. Hopefully by the beginning of your second trimester it will start to subside-as if does for most, they keep telling me!
Good luck and congrats, prayers and thoughts sent your way! 💕😊👶🏽🙏🏼
