Trip advice- too early?

Question

We are hoping to go for the Fourth of July to my families house.
Baby will be 5 months on Friday.  It’s 1.5 hours away.
Is this too early for us to be going on a trip?

I have taken my 4 1/2 month old to my brother’s house that lives 2 hours away several times. Super easy to travel with them at this age. Just feed and change them before you go, you’re pretty much good to go after that!

I have taken my almost 5 month son on two plane trips and taking a third in August. It worked out just fine!

I flew with my 3 week old across Canada! From Victoria B.C. To Toronto O.N. I would say it’s okay.

We live in Houston and flew to Portland when our youngest was 12 weeks old and there were no issues. We flew to Denver with our first when she was 6 months old. Good luck!

We took our then 3 month old to my brother’s college graduation 4 hours away. She did great! But she also doesn’t mind the car seat if the car is moving and she can look out the window.

we have traveled to my in laws 2.5 hours away since he was 1 month old!
