Estimating weight based on ultrasound isn’t known for its accuracy; I’ve known a ton of folks who were told their babies were big on ultrasound and they were born average size (close to or on due date). Also, you can still have a big baby vaginally! My son was 8.9 lbs and my daughter was 9.6 lbs and I had them both vaginally! It can be done, I promise!
Baby at 32 weeks
Our little boy had his 32 week checkup today, and is measuring in the 77th percentile. He weighs 4 pounds, 12 oz and is measuring 6 days ahead..so technically measuring 33 weeks (I’m 32w1d). The tech said if he continues on this path and I carry until 40 weeks, he’ll likely be 8 pounds 😳 I know ultrasounds aren’t always right, but I’m planning on a vaginal birth and it makes me a little nervous. Anyone else had a baby measure ahead at 32 weeks and have a large baby?
