Unsure About The Pill
My SO and I are talking marriage. We're 23 and 22 years old.
We're both virgins and devoted Christians and it's time for us to start talking birth control options.
Part of me is tempted by birth control because, obviously, I think I'd have less worry in my life. We have no idea how we'd manage to support a child at this stage in life.
Most of me feels really uncomfortable with any kind of birth control other than NFP - I'm not Catholic, but I feel very very similarly to them in this area. The problem is that I am so irregular. I have never been able to predict when my next period will be (reason for having Glow).
So, someone give me a solid argument for why I should suck it up and swallow a pill anyway, even though it doesn't sit well with my conscience. I want to be okay with it. Haha
Arguments that aren't convincing to me: "because unless you want 6 kids, you need to be on birth control. Otherwise you're just irresponsible and/or crazy." That one never convinced me.
