I’m a first time mom & signed up for WIC when I was pregnant. When my baby was born I asked to get formula because I had no milk at all and still don’t. Very low milk supply runs in my family and by 4 weeks it completely dried up. The WIC consultant shamed me for using formula & I came home and cried because I felt like such a bad mom. I have an appointment next week and will ask to get formula again, but was wondering do I need a prescription for my baby to get formula? That’s what I heard from some people. I live in California and was also wondering how many cans a month will I be receiving?
