For women who travel with their husbands for work?

So my husband is going to be traveling for work, he will be a welder so he plan on getting a camper, but we will most likely have to stay at hotels the first couple months. How do you make friends? What’s it like? He’s going to be working around 60-80 hours a week so I’ll be there pretty much all day long. Just need some advice on how it is. I’m very nervous. I’ve never left home, or my family and neither has he. This is a very big step for us and I want to be happy with it.
