Does your baby talk?

Hey ladies! How much does your baby talk? I feel like my boy doesn’t say much for his age he says dad, mum, bird, bath, hello, dog, up, yes, yum and I think that’s about it!

My little girl doesn’t have many ‘real’ words yet either. However she does babble up a storm and talks that way.

My daughter doesn’t say any real words yet. She “talks” a lot but it’s just baby talk. She does say mama and dads but I’m still don’t think she knows what they mean. 
I thought she was going to walk early based on when she started pulling up and waking down furniture but she didn’t. When she did start walking she was sure footed and was running within 2 weeks. I’m convinced she doesn’t do anything until she knows she can really do it so maybe she’ll just start speaking full sentences!

That’s plenty of words for 15 months. Our doctor said 3 or 4 outside of mama and dada. Some kids are more advanced with language but don’t make that make you feel like something is wrong with your baby because of that.

My LO only says about four words that we can understand to be real words, but he babbles constantly.

I have a talker! She's non stop. We've got: mommy, daddy, ball, gigi (her grandmother) pap. She knows my sister's dogs names cocoa and drogo.  She knows: Ball, shoes, horse, banana, apple, pancake, keys, hat, yes, no, please, thank you, up, down, hello, hi, goodbye, bunny, kitty, purple, applesauce, ( comes out apple goss) cheese, bubble, baby, pool, pickle, pillow, pretty,  teeth, and buckle. She says Tee when you ask her what her name is (Teegan). She knows some letters in the alphabet.  She watches your mouth a lot when talking. She tries to mimic a lot.

My kiddo hardly talks at all yet. Every now and then he will throw out a random word, but nothing consistent. The doctor said between 18 months and 2 years they should be saying about 8 words, but that with boys you typically don’t see that jump until 2-2.5 years.

Oh man my little boy loves to talk! He spent the first 6 weeks of this year battling a wicked ear infection so we read a LOT. He walks well but doesn’t run (without tripping anyway 😅) and just started climbing on the couch within the last couple weeks but he says a ton!
Mama, Dada, KeeGee (our dog Krieger), Papa, dog, eye, cup, water, cookie, cracker, cheese, bawoo (balloon), owl, shark, that, truck, cock (clock 😂), car, eeee (ear), up, no, door, tree, sock, hi, bye-bye, duck, puffs, Elmo, ball, hat, keys, cook (book), turtle 
He has started saying “hi keegee” or “hi dada” and he says “poopoo” while he’s pooping (that’s recent though)
He says other words too but he doesn’t know the meaning behind them
So he’s a little behind on the activity but doing well in other ways 🤗 it’s so cool to see how different they all are

At my sons 15th month checkup they said he doesn’t say enough works but it wasn’t anything to worry about. That of course made this mama worry anyways 😂. He says mama, dada, pup pup, pals, (from Disney junior puppy dog pals show) ball, baba, book, kitty, hello, and bye bye. Of course only myself, his dad, and my mom can understand him though. He just started saying some of those and his appointment was on the 21st so now he is saying a little more. Still worried tho!

My 15 month old says book, Remi (our dog), nose, bite bite, milk, cup cup (his sippy cup), belly button, thank you, Mama, daddy, woof, meow, bye bye, pawpaw, if I say one, he says two, three, yay, ninney, look, whoa. I have felt like he didn’t say much but now that I type it out it seems like a good bit. Oh yeah and no no! He has that down pat good 😂😂😂
