Idk what to do

I’ve got this quarter that had a misprint, and my parents are more hyped about it than I am, because it could be worth something. I know for a fact they’re just wondering how much money it’s worth, and I’m sitting here not wanting to get rid of it. My mom said, “An adult needs to go with you because they’ll try to manipulate and scam you out of it.”

I’m 18 years old and know more about scams than she does, I’m not stupid enough to let them take it without going to multiple places. Even then I probably wouldn’t get rid of it because it could be worth more down the road, plus I love collecting things like this.
