Baby consipation?

My one month old hasn’t pooped since 11am. It’s not 11pm. She is pushing and grunting trying to poop and it’s making her face so red because she is trying so hard. Is there anything I can do to help her? She is breast milk and formula fed.

Yea I think that’s normal, my one month old had the same problem. The intestines are new too so they are adjusting to digestion. If baby pooped at 11 that’s still pooping at least once during the day. Our pediatrician said that if it’s more than five days that’s when they’d be concerned.

Gas drops, gripe water, she may just have gas she needs out. Babies often go awhile without pooping. Breastfed babies can go up to 7 days.
Bicycle her legs and do the I Love You belly massages. If it gets really bad put petroleum jelly on her bum and use rectal thermometer to stimulate.

is she getting more formula that breastmilk? when my baby was younger he would get backed up and his pediatrician said to give him more breastmilk and it helped. he told me babies body may be absorbing the water in the formula and leaving just formula. i suggest trying more breastfeeding than formula. it helped my son

bicycle her legs and do some knees to chest...as well as a gentle tummy massage. 
It's normal for babies to not poop everyday.
Also, they may sound constipated when really they're trying to coordinate all their muscles to try to push a poop out.

Open up bed diaper and see if you can “help” her push it out. If not give her a little tiny slice of a Childrens glycerin suppository, and make sure she keeps it in for at least 30 min
