Is this thrush? I am worried about how white her tongue is!

It can be your baby not touching the top of their mouth with their tongue due to not knowing how.
My lactation consultant showed me a technique to teach them to get rid of the milk on their tongue by training them to touch the top of their mouth...
1. Wash your hands
2. Put your pinky finger into the baby’s mouth with your nail towards their tongue
3. Let the baby suck on your finger until they get a strong suck
4. Pull your finger out of the baby’s mouth quickly and make them make a pop sound
The tongue will touch the roof and the sensation will encourage them to do this often themselves to get rid of Milky tongue!

My son had thrush when he was a couple weeks old. He had the whiteness on his tongue & cheeks

My daughters tongue is a little whiter then that and she just went to the dr and they said it wasn’t thrush! As long as she eats fine and it isn’t irritating her while eating then I doubt it’s thrush!

How long ago did she eat? And is it on the inside of her mouth, besides her tongue also? Definitely call her PD, just in case

Idk what that is but I used to grab a wet little towel and wipe the inside of her mouth when my LO was an infant. Now we brush our teeth together twice a day. Just do that wipe her tongue and inside of her cheeks.
