My fiancé and I put up our announcement yesterday on Facebook and I told him all day to call his brother - whom he is not close with - and he chose not to. So we put up our picture and we're super excited about it and not even 10 min later we get a call from his mom saying how his brother is upset because he didn't call him. Mind you, we are all adults here. The polite thing to do would have been for his brother to call and congratulate us, right? My fiancé called him and texted him and got no response. So his brother, his girlfriend and my fiancés sister didn't even congratulate us. The best part is? When his brother found out he was gonna be a dad, he didn't tell my fiancé! He found out through their dad! So of course all the family drama caused by them had to ruin our exciting announcement.
