I'm having mid painful contractions every 6-7 min about 40 seconds each since 7.30 this morning

You'll know when its time ! When the contractions are 3-4mins apart coming from the lower back area

You need to go get checked out. It does sound like your in labor but it could just be your body practicing. First time moms sometimes go into labor a couple times before their body goes into complete labor. That's how i was. It was really annoying! Lol

Go get checked out if you are unsure. I thought I was beginning labor on Friday night because I had contractions from 4pm-2am but after a shower they settled down and I've had nothing since then. I'm 38+2
