I make dinners every night and my husband plays Xbox and leaves his sitting but takes 2 bites every 20 minutes or so 🤷🏼‍♀️ as long as he eats I'm good. He probably wanted to relax and was full from lunch or whatever.

Short answer is yes I would - but also what were his expectations? Do you normally eat dinner together? Do you normally cook? 
If you normally cook but eat whenever or separate then maybe not - he may not have realised. 
If he knew you were making effort and you normally eat together then definitely
