Anyone in England struggling with the heat?

I am 39 weeks today and really struggling with the heat. I have just put the vacuum around and feel unbelievably hot! It’s impossible to sleep. Any tips? How are you all feeling?

I’m not in England but in New York it’s 100 degrees today with the feels like temperature of 110. Uncomfortably hot for anybody let alone someone’s who’s 9 months pregnant 😩

It’s not just England. The United States is dealing with a heatwave, too. We use the Fahrenheit system. Right now, it’s 89 degrees, but with the humidity, it feels like
98, and it’s only 10:30 in the morning. We’re expected to get up to 94 degrees, which puts the “feels like” temp at 103. (89F is 32C). 
We’re coping with two air conditioners running constantly. And cold showers at night to help with sleeping comfortable. Are you near water so that you could go for a swim? 
I’m also noticing that the sweat is making me Lee fat less often than I should for the quantity of liquids I’m consuming, so I’m pumping myself full of ice water and Powerade (for the electrolytes).

Yes! Struggling so much and getting induced on Thursday 😓 I'm actually freaking out about how to keep this baby cool once she's here- I read that the ideal temperature is between 16-20°, and our bedroom is right at 26°...we have a fan but I'm so scared she'll overheat!

Omg yes! It’s awful isn’t it! 
I have a fan on constantly, I’ve bought cooling sprays and I’m living off ice lollies! 
For sleeping I’ve heard that sleeping with a wet/damp towel on top of you should help you stay cool. I haven’t tried this over my full body yet but I’ve been doing it with a flannel over my forehead and it’s helped me!
