CERVIDIL experiences?

I am being induced July 11th and doctor said I MAY have to come in the night before to have my cervix softened by a Cervidil vaginal suppository. Anyone tell me what to expect here?

I tried that last time. Didn’t do a thing for me. I went in a zero, I left two days later still a firm zero after three applications of the stuff. Just be aware it doesn’t always work 👍. (Note i have a few friends that it worked a treat for, I just must be odd hahaha)

I was induced Wednesday and used cervidil! It softened my cervix and started contractions but only dialated me to 1cm. Once I started the pitocin and my doctor broke my water things really got moving.
I’m not going to lie them placing the cervidil was pretty uncomfortable they have to go up and behind the cervix, but you can do it!
