Extremely Sore Boobs and nipples

my boobs have been extremely sore for a few days now. it's CD14 for me. I am currently on birth control so I'm more than likely not ovulating. My boobs are so sore that I can barely touch them! Even when I walk and they bounce just a little they HURT. It feels like someone has just punched my titties repeatedly!

I had my SO massage them and when he barely ran his finger over my nipple I winced in pain. it felt like he had gave it a twist lol. My breast have never been THIS sore before. Sometimes they get mildly tender around the time my period starts but never this sore. Any suggestions to what it could be?
