Can starting birth control cause moodiness?

My boyfriend every time I try to start, says I act like a jerk on bc. Will it go away if my body gets used to the bc?

It can also cause severe depression so if u notice any sign of this please advise to discontinue taking it & talk to ur docter about another form that will worm better for u

Yes it can also cause depression..I’ve been off it 7 months, was only on it like 2 and I still have symptoms ...of bad things..

I was pretty moody when I started taking it but I think the side effect of mine went away after 2 weeks or so

Well it’s hormones so yea.. it can take your body some time to adjust.
