Heya... a little back ground story. Im 33w + 2days. I have to ho to fetal wellbeing 3 times a week for monitoring and a scan to check liquid volume as well as blood flow through the cord. I have growth scans every 2 weeks and then see consultant. And also had steroid injections.

Hospital first thought baby wasn’t growing at normal rate and was below 5th centile. At 31w + 6 days my baby boy was weighing 3 pounds and 6oz so thats why i was being monitored.

When being monitored last week they noticed baby was always “asleep”... so they would make me drink cold water, eat sweets and lie on my left side until he had sugar and it woke him up.

I had a scan last Friday at fetal Medicine to check everything ok and he weighed 4 pounds and 2oz! So he had gained nearly a pound in a week. But the consultant who scanned me said she was trying to wake the baby up but she couldn’t so she wanted me to stay in. Luckily just as she was about to stop scanning he moved! So i got to go home.

Been monitored today and baby was very happy. Back Wednesday and then Friday I have another scan and consultant.

Now i was just wondering if anybody else baby didn’t really normal, is it normal and will i be induced if it carries on like this??
