Honest opinions of dogs ?

My older siblings and I grew up with dogs. They loved the dogs, and honestly, they were pretty cute.

But like... I’ve always been kinda grossed out by them. I never let the dogs on my bed or let them lick me anywhere near my hands or face. I usually washed my hands immediately after petting them (which is hardly ever).

Don’t get me wrong, i don’t HATE them. I will never mistreat them or abuse them! I just prefer not to deal with them. Too much going on... I worry about bugs, hairs flying everywhere, and germs.

And it turns out my younger sister will be getting a dog later this summer, and it just sucks to know that I’m not 100% on board. She doesn’t know that I’m not a “dog person” (I’m really not into pets in general, but whatevs).

Oh well 🙃 I hope the puppy makes her happy and leaves me alone
