Starbucks whipped cream is not pasteurized

Hello ladies. Some of you might know it but I learned today that Starbucks whipped cream is NOT pasteurized. I am just writing so that those of you expectant mothers watch out when ordering drinks with whipped cream.

Today my husband got me a cold drink and did not ask for whipped cream. They still put it on the drink. So I went ahead and asked if it’s pasteurized. They said no. Then I told them I didn’t want whipped cream. The barista told another barista to “just take off the whipped cream.” (Weird). I had to insist that I cannot have the drink because I am pregnant and I need a new one. They were nice enough to make me a new drink. So... just informing you. 🍹
