VBAC?

Question

anybody have a VBAC after having serious complications with first pregnancy. I had severe preeclampsia with my daughter and she was born at 25 weeks. My C-section went great though. Healed quickly and correctly, barely any pain. I did have a blood clot afterward but im not sure they are related. I am now 9 weeks with #2 and wanting to try a vbac.

We were going to attempt a VBAC, but unfortunately we had change plans since we moved to a new state it is just easier for me to have a repeat c-section since we likely will not have anyone to care for our daughter while I'm in labor.

I had preeclampsia with my first as well. I was induced at 39.5. She wasn't engaged, I wasn't dilated or effaced. I had 4 rounds of cytotec, and then 2 days of pitocin. I finally got to where I could push and pushed for 3 hours. She wouldn't fit so I got taken in for a c section. She was 10 pounds. 
I am now 38.5 with my 2nd pregnancy. I am going to attempt a vbac if she comes on her own. I have until the 24th....or I go in for a routine c section. Hopefully, I'll have a success story to share with you.

as someone who was in the same boat you will be advised against it...and you should seriously consider what they say because of the fact that it is such a risk for us...my doctor told me the only way I can do a natural delivery is if I'm I come to the hospital fully dilated and ready to go with NO blood pressure spikes. if you haven't had this convo With a doctor yet please prepare yourself because it's much different than the first time. good luck with whatever you choose.
