Ovulation issues

I’m not ovulating until the 40th-42nd day of my cycle and with cramping. Is it even possible to TTC at this point? Starting to get a little discouraged, praying I don’t get my period tomorrow. Should I take another ovulation test in the morning? I’ve been using the clear blue advanced and got my first flashing smiley since I had an ectopic in February. Just trying to stay positive
