Where to put car seat ?

Question

Could anyone with a Toyota Camry tell me where I should put my baby’s car seat at. My car manual only shows a picture of a car seat behind the passenger but it doesn’t say in words that that’s where it should go. I always thought that the middle was safest in case of side impact but the instructions that came with my car seat said to check the car manual which doesn’t specify.

if it can fit in the middle, do it there, if not, passenger side is okay too, plenty of people put it on the passenger seat with no issues!

Here I’m about Australia it’s recommended to put them behind the passenger because that way they are in the safest side when getting them in and out. Stops parents from getting them out on the side with traffic.

We had my daughters seat in the middle. But now have moved her to the passenger side. To make it easy to get her in and out. Also there will be two seats in the car soon
