Cutting out all the negative people in my life

I’ve recently decided to cut out all the negative people in my life that have something nasty to say about me being 19 and pregnant.

“Why would you get pregnant so young?” Obviously it wasn’t planned, I didn’t do it on purpose but me and my boyfriend are excited for the baby.

“Why’re you so happy?” Because I don’t wanna be a miserable ass bitch during my pregnancy. My innocent child doesn’t deserve a mommy that doesn’t want him or her or finds him or her a burden.

“You’re life is ruined now.” Nope, it’s not. This snapback is about to be crucial. I’m about to get my associate’s degree in nursing before I give birth at the age of 19 and have my bachelors by 21. I would have never jumped through these many hoops if I wasn’t pregnant.

“Why don’t you hurry up and get married?” Because I don’t want to get married just because I’m pregnant. My boyfriend’s going to stay with me regardless. We can get married when our child is 3.

“I can’t believe you were having sex, you should’ve been using protection.” I did use protection and people have sex.

All of these nasty comment came from people in my immediate family. It’s so disgusting that people would try to make me feel bad about being pregnant and I’m not even asking for a handout from them.
