Do you have any bikinis?

Am I the only one who doesn’t own one? Or at least one? I’ve only had one in my entire life and that was when I was 6. That’s the only time I’ve been to a pool or something similar. I don’t even feel comfortable sitting in a bra and underwear in the house when I’m alone, nevermind in front of other 50 people...

Yes that’s all I wear because the thought of having a swimsuit on my stomach freaks me out. Yuck that sounds like the worst feeling lol. But I have a few friends who aren’t comfortable with wearing bikinis so you’re not alone. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I could be a nudist lol. I don’t mind wearing minimal clothing. I’d wear a lot less than I already do if it weren’t illegal.

I’m over weight. Under no circumstances will you see me in a bikini. Plus even if I lost the weight I can’t stand my stretch marks.

For a while after my daughter was born I strictly wore tankinis, I was self conscious of my tummy, stretch marks and the little extra weight on me, but I've reached a point where I've accepted my body for what it is and plus it gets so damned got here in the summer that I just feel better in a bikini. Usually my husband and I are with another couple and our kids when we go swimming and all 4 of us adults don't have perfect bodies, but none of us give a rip and are comfortable around each other so it doesn't bother any of us. I don't care what strangers think of me anymore.

I am self conscious about my body so I know where you are coming from. I only ever wear one piece swimming suits
