HCG need to be 0?

Hi! So this may be a totally dumb question, but does HCG have to be 0 to get your period again after a miscarriage? I’m asking because I had bleeding, then spotting gradually decreased but now I’m bleeding again!! 😩 I’m hoping it’s my period so I can start trying again but I still got a vfl on a pregnancy test. This is the worst 😥

I miscarried 18th May had a period exactly 4weeks later and ovulated Wednesday past going on opk and ovulation pain, I’ve only just today got my first completely negative pregnancy test, yesterday it still had a shadow of a line, I’m using 10ml/u pregnancy tests so they’re pretty sensitive and I wanted to make sure I seen it go negative in case we make our rainbow and don’t realise.
