4 weeks ago... (healthy picture)
My full-term baby boy was born 4 weeks ago. We knew from 21 weeks that he had a severe heart defect and needed open heart surgery. ...He didn't wake up from his surgery, at 3 days old. Physically, I'm healing up well from my cesarean. Emotionally, I'm breaking down sobbing a lot less frequently. ...I still miss him, though, and can't help but think of all the things I'll never get to do with him.
