I went pee at 2am and started having cramps and they got a little worse then when DH left for work I got up and started timing them and they got regular and frequent around 5:30A so I called the OB and she said I could come in and get checked or wait a little until they got more intense. I waited until DH got home and we got to hospital around 8:20A and I was 1 cm and 90% effaced then about an hour later I was 2cm and fully effaced then my next check about an hour and a half later I was 7cm! I stood up to move during contraction and my water broke. Full Hollywood dramatics pop and gush all over! Then it was on to the delivery room and after a few more contractions it was time to push!! He was born at 2PM 7lbs 1.8oz and 19inches. No medication during labor and delivery. I did get numbed for stitching and am taking ibuprofen for the swelling in my lady parts.
