My 3 week old just slept for 7 hours! She has always woken up every 2 or so hours and then out of nowhere this time it had been 7. Why do you think this is?

Their sleep schedules can be a little erratic at the beginning so that can happen. Pediatricians recommend you don't let them go past 5 hours. However once their weight is where it should be then most peds say you can let them sleep as long as they'll go.

I think until your doctor gives you the OK you should be waking your baby up to eat. 7 hours is a long time for them to go. Can a baby sleep that long? Sure. SHOULD they? No.

Don’t question it just sleep I have a 9 month old who still nurses ever 2 hours ALL night long. I just want some sleep
