Best bassinet?

Question

FTM here and having trouble picking out a bassinet. Some seem more basic while others rock/vibrate with music and lights. I'm hoping to use it in our room for the first 3-6 months especially since I plan to breastfeed. Any recommendations? I don't want to buy into something more expensive if it wasn't really needed or useful. Thanks!

I have the halo. I don’t think the swivel part is all that necessary but what I couldn’t love without is the vibration and white noise attachment. My baby will wake up and start to stir and I will turn on the noise and vibration and he will go back to sleep for another hour or so. I call it “hitting his snooze button” 😅

We use the swaddleme sleeper. My little one doesn’t love the sound part but loves the vibration. It doesn’t turn or anything, but I haven’t found need for it to. It is adjustable to the height of your bed as well. Bonus: not really all that expensive either!

I chose to go with an ezee 3-in-1 co sleeper! One side folds down and it scoots up to the bed to use as a co sleeper or you can keep the side up to use at a regular bassinet.. and the platform drops down to be used as a pack-n-play! I don’t know if you are interested in having those options but is was about $200. I figured that wasn’t bad since I didn’t have to buy a separate bassinet and a pack n play!

I have a snuzpod2. 1 side zips down completely so you can use it as a co-sleeper. It doesn’t rock or play music etc but I didn’t need it. It is a bit more expensive but you can lift the bassinet part off the frame and move it between rooms. I found this useful when I wanted to have a shower and bring the baby into the bathroom. 
He stayed in it until nearly 6 months when he moved into his cot in his own room-I still pop him into it if I bring him into my bedroom-when I’m getting dressed etc. I’m expecting number 2 so I’ll be using it again and would highly recommend it.

We got the snoo which can be used until 6 months. It's on the expensive side, but the reviews and info we read seemed promising. it's designed by pediatricians and engineers. It rocks and mimics the sound of the womb. also in order for it to turn on baby must be fastened in by the swaddle provided. it helps get rid of the chance of them rolling over. I have the cover on because she won't be here until October.

I used the fisher price rock n play, my son loved sleeping in it for those first months. You can get it cheap enough too.
