Mailbox head UPDATE

Update!! My husband bought a post and mailbox. They are still not happy because it’s not the one they want! The mailbox they want is over 100.00 the post they want is 89.00. My husband bought a basic post and a mailbox that was 48 bucks. A nice one. Nicer than what they had!! So what now people?

So my son was riding his bike having fun. He decided to go really fast because he’s the coolest 4 year old and he looked back to say look at me mama and BAM! He takes a mailbox out with his head.

So I run to him while carrying my 1 year old and make sure he is okay. He has some bruising a little bit of blood and saying his face hurts. I get him calm and go knock on my neighbors door that I have never met.

After about 2-3 minutes a middle age woman answers the door. I tell her “hey my son was riding his bike and took your mailbox out with his head.” She says “Fix my mailbox!” “Can you fix my mailbox?” Meanwhile my 4 year old is crying and she doesn’t even ask if he is okay! She is just worried about her mailbox.

So I tell her yes I will do my best to fix your mailbox! She goes inside and slams the door in my face! I put a couple of screws in the post to hold the already rotting mailbox up. So fast forward 3 days. She comes to my house demanding I buy her a new mailbox and post! The actual mailbox where u put mail is okay! But the post was cracked and it was rotten.

Anyway should I buy this woman a mailbox? My son is 4 and was a complete accident! What should I do?
