tell your first baby about your second baby (how far along were you)? How old was your first at the time?

My daughter was 2 1/2 when I first found out I was pregnant (she was more advanced and understood what was going on). I decided to tell my husband by having her give him a "Big Sister" book to read, I was maybe 5 weeks. In hindsight this was an awful idea-- I miscarried between 8-9 weeks and it was difficult to explain that she would be a big sister just not yet. I got pregnant again a few weeks after her 3rd birthday and we didn't tell her until after the 12 week scan. We were going around the table saying what we were thankful for and she got to announce she would be a big sister. fast forward some time and I'm sitting here with my wiggly 6 week old son:)Q

My son was 1 when we found out (like 12 months).  We always talk about baby with him, but I’m not sure he understands 🤷‍♀️

We told our 8 year olds at 13 weeks 1 week before we announced. This time around they are 9 now we told them earlier on I think around 7 weeks. Then I announced at 10 weeks.
