unicorn mamas?
My baby's about 9 days old now and latches like a champ. He still falls asleep on the breast pretty much every time. I know he needs to be burped before I put him down, but I don't want to wake him just to have to try to get him back to sleep.Quite reliably at night too, there really is no such thing as putting him down. He falls asleep on me despite my best efforts to keep him awake while feeding. and he wakes up again within 5 minutes of me putting him down. Then, I have to start over again because he gives hunger cues &/or cries every time he wakes up. And getting in & out of bed takes a while & sometimes hurts still because of my c section. And finally, related to my last point about not being in top shape, who the heck can get to the baby, pick them up, and get set up for nursing BEFORE the baby starts crying? All the experts say feed before they cry. Who can manage this, unicorn mamas?
